The youngster is a natural born leader who would add some much-needed stability in the Red Devils back four. Strong in the tackle and excellent at reading the game, Gimenez has the potential to be one of the best centre-backs in the world.
Landing the Uruguayan defender in January would finally give Mourinho the world-class defender he has been crying out for.
